Join me for a guided aurora experience in the Alaskan Interior, where I combine my local knowledge, safe transportation, and a passion for the night sky to help you experience the Northern Lights at their best.

I pick you up and drop you off at your lodging in Fairbanks. Each trip is planned around current conditions and tailored to your interests, whether you want to photograph the aurora or simply watch the colors unfold in peaceful surroundings. I am pretty flexible with rescheduling due to bad weather.

I offer a day rate as well as a multi day discount. Alaska residents also get 10% off. 

Few places capture the spirit of Alaska like the Dalton Highway. On this trip we’ll head north across the Yukon River while following the pipeline towards the Arctic Circle. You’ll see vast wilderness, diverse wildlife, and beautiful vistas along the way. For those who want to go farther, I offer an Arctic Ocean adventure, an unforgettable drive through the Brooks Range into the beautiful tundra of the north.

Winter storms and flooding summer rains can make this trip challenging, so I will be sure to keep you posted in case we need to reschedule.

Embark on a guided journey along the Denali Highway, an historic 135-mile rural road connecting the Richardson and Parks Highways traversing some of Alaska’s most expansive and dramatic landscapes. This route offers a quieter alternative to the more traveled roads, with opportunities for photography, short hikes, camping, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Trips are contingent on current road and weather conditions while designed to maximize your experience of interior Alaska’s natural beauty.

This trip can be a day trip out of Fairbanks, although I recommend breaking it into two or more days.

Maybe you’d like to fly north to Utqiaġvik and stand at the Arctic Ocean, drive the Steese Highway and see Alaska’s gold country, spend a night at the historic Manley Roadhouse, or camp among sweeping mountain views. Few places capture the feeling of an Alaska summer like fishing on the Kenai and Russian Rivers. On this trip, I partner us with a local fishing guide where we spend the days fishing for salmon in waters famous for both their beauty and abundance. From casting into turquoise glacial runs to watching bald eagles circle overhead, it’s an experience that combines excitement and calm in the best way. I’ll take care of the planning and gear so you can focus on the fun and maybe bring home a great story or two. Options for sleep include tent camping or staying at a local lodge.
